Group Life

What is a small group?

What is a small group?

Small groups are where BIG church becomes small and personal – a place to form deep connections and grow together. Each group is made up of 10-12 people who commit to meet weekly in someone’s home. There is time for prayer, studying the Bible, and to simply live life together! In these relationships, we learn how to live out our faith through real friendships, accountability, and discipleship.

If you’re interested in finding a small group to join, please fill out the Connection Card and a Group Life team member will be in contact with you.

What is Rooted?

Rooted isn’t just a group, it’s an experience. It is not just for new believers or new members; it’s for the whole church.

In this 10-week small group, together with 10-12 other people, you will dive into the Rooted Experience workbook (provided to you). This workbook actually isn’t about head knowledge; Rooted is about taking risks and actually doing things Jesus did. You will practice seven rhythms essential to a healthy relationship with Jesus – daily devotion, prayer, freedom from strongholds, sacrificial generosity, serving the community, sharing your story and celebrating. All of this combined is designed to connect you with God, the church, and your purpose.

Rooted Groups happen seasonally at New Life. Stay connected by joining our email list to get notified when this year’s Rooted season is set to start!

Already completed Rooted? Grounded is for you!

Grounded is where you’ll be encouraged to go even deeper in faith as you live as a committed disciple of Jesus.
